The Balboa BP7 is a compatible replacement for the old series BP501G**. The BP7 is the newest spa control in the Balboa replacement spa controls systems line up and is also one of the most feature and programming flexible system that has the capability to run up to 3 pumps plus a dedicated circulation pump.

System ships with the factory default setting for 1 - 2 speed 230 volt primary pump (Set up 21). Has 32 different setting options for up to 4 pumps plus a circulation pump. Changing the program settings must be done onsite once installed and hot tub is up and running via the topside control. Installation by a qualified person is recommended.
** Balboa has removed the BP501 from the replacement parts list and replaced it with the BP7.
Warranty Coverage: Balboa VS packs/bundles and BP series packs/bundles come with a twelve (12) months limited manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase that covers defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if these parts are damaged due to improper installation or use or if the damage is from exposure to water or electrical power surges. The warranty does not cover any labour charges, the cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other possible damages. Not suitable for salt water applications, voids warranty.
IMPORTANT. Terminal block screws need to be tightened to torque to the specs listed on the inside cover of the pack. Failure to tighten properly can cause heat/resistance arc burn damage to the circuit board. The manufacturer will not honour the limited product warranty if these connection points are burned.
