The replacement Waterlab probe is used in the Gecko Waterlab system in your hot tub or swim spa to automatically monitor a spa's water quality. It continuously measures three key parameters: pH, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and temperature. The data is transmitted via the in.touch 3+ module to the Gecko Smart Spa Control mobile app.
The Waterlab probe screws into the Waterlab chamber (sold separately) installed beneath the spa shell. Maintenance is minimal: regular inspection and gentle cleaning of the electrodes are enough to keep measurements accurate. Replacement is straightforward and, depending on the installation, does not require draining the spa.
Compatibility
The probe is designed to work exclusively with the Gecko Waterlab system installed in your hot tub or swim spa. It must be used with the Waterlab chamber and the in.touch 3+ module.
Maintenance
The probe is designed to last up to 4 years without replacement after initial calibration. Periodic checks and light cleaning of the electrodes are recommended if buildup occurs. Recalibration every 2 years is advised if readings become unstable. If a malfunction occurs, the probe can be easily replaced without draining the spa.
Important
The probe must be kept at temperatures above 0°C and should avoid long exposure to air (over 10 minutes). Exposure to air for more than 10 minutes can damage the probe, this damage would not be covered by the manufacturers limited warranty.
