Directions For Use (Cartridge Filters):
- Prepare a solution with 250mL of Filter Cleaner per 5L of water in a bucket, adjust quantities as needed depending on height of cartridge
- Place cartridge upright in the pail, ensuring it is completely covered by the solution
- Allow to soak for a minimum of 6 hours
- Remove cartridge from solution and rinse with cold water
- Allow the cartridge to dry before re-use
Directions For Use (Sand Filters):
- Raise the water level to above the skimmer
- Stop the pump, ensure skimmer basket is clean and empty
- If the filter is located near the skimmer, pour the contents of the bottle into the skimmer basket with the filter in the "Filter" position
- Start the pump, let run for 5 seconds and then stop the pump
- Let soak for 8 hours
- After 8 hours change the filter position to "Backwash", start the pump and let it run for up to 5 minutes
- Stop the pump, put the filter back to the "Filter" position and restart
