Spa Essentials Defoamer helps to quickly resolve and help prevent any suds or foam within the water of your spa, hot tub or ornamental fountain. Ensure to shake well before use and add one capful (approximately 10ml) for every 1000L of water. While the pump is running, pour treatment directly into water and the foam should dissipate quickly. If problem persists repeat dose as needed. Larger amounts of product may be required depending on the severity and cause of the foam. There are 3 usual suspects when it comes to foam in your spa: personal care products, low calcium hardness and problems with pH. Testing and balancing your water is always a good idea to prevent foamy water before it starts.
Spa Essentials Water Clarifier helps to maintain beautifully clear water by collecting small particles and forming them into larger masses that can be removed by the filter. This allows your water to stay clean and clear and helps to treat cloudy water. When treating cloudy water, ensure your filter is clean and have the pump operating during treatment. Introduce 1 capful (approximately 10ml) of water clarifier directly to the water, and clean your filter as needed or if water pressure drops from jets to avoid low flow problems. Repeat dose it water has not cleared within 24 hours.
Spa Essentials Stain and Scale Control II is designed to treat and prevent the build up of scale on spa surfaces, piping, and heaters that is caused by calcium, magnesium and hard minerals in the water. It can also help with preventing the stains caused by iron, copper and other metals dissolved in the water. The product is bromine and chlorine tolerant and will not break down when added to high sanitizer levels. When starting your spa, pour 25ml per 1000L of spa water directly into water and allow pumps to circulate water for at least 15 mins. During your weekly water maintenance, add 15ml per 1000L to the water and again allow pumps to operate for 15mins. Product can also be applied directly to fresh metal stains.
