ClearWater Alka Plus is a high quality alkaline mineral that raises total alkalinity levels in pool water. When Total Alkalinity is balanced, corrosion of pool surfaces is reduced and pH is buffered effectively, making it less likely to shift. Effectively managing Total Alkalinity will enhance the performance of other pool chemicals by improving their efficiency.
Directions For Use:
- Sprinkle ALKA+ onto the surface of the water in front of the water outlet or add it to the skimmer basket
- Check alkalinity level every two weeks with a test kit
- Make any necessary adjustment according to the application method and recommended dosage

Dosage:
- To raise alkalinity by 10ppm in less than 40,000L pool add 700g; in 40,000L - 80,000L pool add 1.4kg
Recommended Levels:
- The recommended alkalinity level is 80 - 120 ppm when using a chlorine sanitizer and 100 - 150 ppm when using a bromine sanitizer
