The hot tub pump drain plug barbed hose adaptor fits most new Waterway pump wet ends to attach a 3/8" clear hose to the face. Some manufacturers glue the fittings into place so they cannot be transferred when replacing the pump. If this is the case, purchase new barb fitting(s) as required for the configuration of your spa.

Note: Waterway has changed the threads slightly for 2025 and newer models. This barb does NOT fit: Waterway Iron Might pumps (any year), Waterway Executive 48 and 56 Series pumps made prior to 2025, Balboa, Aqua-flo or LX brand pump wet ends. For these pumps please use part 672-4350.
Important.
Do not to over-tighten, barb fittings will break off at the threads if too much force is applied as the material is softer than what the wet end is made of.
