The Hayward Pro Series 24" sand filter features an integral top diffuser that distributes unfiltered water evenly over the sand media bed in a cascading, umbrella-like pattern. This design maximizes filtration efficiency across every square inch of sand. Additionally, the self-cleaning under drain assembly, equipped with 360° slotted laterals, ensures a fast and balanced flow of clear water returns to the pool while facilitating thorough backwashing.
