Installation Tip:
When replacing the light housing in your hot tub the hot tub will need to be drained to access the light housing from inside the spa. After removing the old housing make sure the spa shell surface is clean and free of oils before installing the new light housing. It is recommended that a small bead of silicone such as the 802 Pro Grade be applied to the lip of the light housing before it is pushed into the hole in the hot tub shell. Also apply a small bead of silicone on the back of the threads after the housing has been inserted into the hole in the spa but before the locking nut is threaded on in the housing to form a good permanent seal.
