Praher multi-piece knife valve, 1-1/2" female pipe thread x 1-1/2" male pipe thread
Ships assembled, Parts to the valve are:
- 2 - 1-1/2" sockets, one side is male pipe thread and the other side is female pipe thread
- 1 - valve body,
- 1 - Gasket set(2)
- 1 - bolt set(4)
This multi-Piece knife valve for hot tub and pool plumbing is serviceable. Once glued in, the valve body, gaskets and 4 bolts can be replaced without having to cut the pieces out. Unlike a uni-body knife valve that cannot be serviced once they start leaking, the valve body, safety clip, gaskets and bolt set can be purchased separately for this knife valve.
The Male and Female pipe threads are not compatible with the threads on pumps or pump unions or any other non-pipe thread size pipes, the size is different and the threads are finer. Only compatible with MPT/FPT fittings.
