GENUINE WATERWAY EXECUTIVE SERIES PUMP VOLUTE, DETAILS:
- Fits 1 - 5HP Waterway executive series 56 frame impellers,
- 2" discharge, (3" actual outside diameter on threads)
- Fits: 56 frame motors only
- Wet end can be installed for LEFT or RIGHT side discharge applications,
- This is a bare volute, does not include pump seal, impeller or any O-rings
- This is the updated 315-1260 that replaces old obsolete part 315-1220 model without the o-ring at the seal.
The 315-1260 is the same as the old 315-1220 except it has an o-ring in the seal. - Please be aware that this wet end will only fit a 56 frame motor. Check the tag on your existing motor to verify frame size.
- Parts from older Waterway Executive series wet ends will not fit this volute and complete new wet end usually recommended as a replacement for older pumps.
Important
Determine the pump plumbing size by measuring the outside diameter of the wet end male threads. Plumbing sizes for hot tubs are nominal, and not actual outside diameter (O.D.) of the the threaded intake or discharge. Once you have removed the pump, use a tape measure to check your old pump thread size and compare to the sizes below.
If your pump thread O.D. is (approx.) 2 3/8", Then you'll need a pump with union size 1 1/2".
If your pump thread O.D. is (approx.) 3.0", Then you'll need a Pump with union size 2.0".
If your pump thread O.D. is (approx.) 3 5/8", Then you'll need a Pump with union size 2 1/2".
